How WQI separates technical judgement from economic interests.
WQI publishes the material institutional relationships and safeguards necessary to understand how its methodology is developed, funded and governed, while preserving legitimate confidentiality around private legal, contractual and intellectual-property records.
Current Institutional Form
WQI currently operates as an independent technical and research initiative and is not a separately incorporated legal person.
Its methodological stewardship, economic funding, intellectual-property interests, participation and commercial implementation are treated as distinct functions.
Founding Participation
The Founding Charter identifies Aerialcom Ltd, Etruriacom Srl and Maurizio Franci as the Founding Participants, reflecting technical, operational and advisory contributions.
Founding Participant status does not by itself create a cash-funding obligation, transfer IP ownership or create a permanent governance entitlement.
Funding and Economic Intellectual Property
Economic support
San Giorgio Holding Ltd provides economic support to the WQI initiative and may directly incur or pay properly authorised WQI-related costs.
Economic rights
San Giorgio Holding Ltd may hold economic intellectual-property rights in WQI-related material where those rights are validly vested in or assigned to it under applicable law and agreement.
Funding and economic intellectual-property rights do not confer methodological or editorial authority over WQI technical conclusions.
Methodological Independence
Evidence before preference
Technical positions are intended to follow evidence, reasoned analysis and the applicable WQI methodology rather than a preferred commercial outcome.
Conflicts are managed
Commercial and organisational involvement is not automatically disqualifying. Material interests are disclosed and managed through proportionate safeguards.
Commercial implementation is separate
A certification programme, product or other commercial implementation does not acquire control over WQI methodology merely because it uses, licenses or commercialises WQI-related work.
